Sergio Perez's father, Antonio, was rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency following his son's crash at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The Red Bull star crashed with Carlos Sainz on the penultimate lap at the Baku race on Sunday as Oscar Piastri went on to win the contest.
Perez Sr usually attends his son's races but stayed at home in Mexico City at the weekend.
But according to Mexican outlet El Heraldo, he was discovered in his bathroom unconcious and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

A picture was released from Perez's press office of the 65-year-old in a hospital bed where he was receiving treatment.
It was also stated that Perez's father was in a stable condition and is recovering from the incident.
It is understood that he suffered a pre-infarction, which could lead to a heart attack.
“The incident occurred following his son’s impact during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, in a collision with driver Carlos Sainz," a statement read.
“Perez Garibay was found unconscious in the bathroom of his Mexico City home, where paramedics attended to provide immediate medical attention.

"He was rushed to a hospital in the capital, where he is currently under medical observation and in stable condition.
“We thank you for your expressions of support and affection.”
An update read: “Mr. Perez Garibay is stable but remains in intensive care under constant medical review, focusing mainly on his heart and other vital organs.

"The specialists in charge have indicated that his condition continues to be closely monitored.
"On behalf of Mr. Antonio Perez Garibay and his entire team, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Mexican Red Cross for their prompt intervention, which was essential to safeguard his life.
"We also extend our appreciation and gratitude to the doctors and health personnel who are treating him in a hospital in Mexico City.

Perez is in action later this week at the Singapore Grand Prix as Red Bull look to get their season back on track.
