Ferrari is expected to have a difficult weekend in Monaco, 12 months on from Charles Leclerc’s historic home win.
The Italian outfit has struggled for form this though the opening round of the championship, and currently sit fourth in the Constructors’ Championship.
They have mainly struggled in qualifying, one lap pace has been an issue, with both Ferrari drivers falling out in Q2 at their first home race of the season in Imola.
Both Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc qualified outside the top 10, 12th and 11th, respectively, at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Both drivers were able to recover in the race with Hamilton taking his best finish in red in fourth and Leclerc bringing his Ferrari home in sixth.
But the drivers have warned not to expect the same results this week in Monaco.
When asked for his expectations regarding Monaco this time around, Leclerc told the media, including RacingNews365: “A very difficult weekend.
“I think Monaco will expose quite a few weaknesses of our car.
“There are also a lot of things you can’t expect in Monaco with the amount of risk you take in qualifying.

“The car is set up in a very different way, so I hope it will surprise us.”
This season will be the first one where Hamilton is not in his Silver Arrow since he drove for McLaren in 2012.
While not one of Briton’s best tracks, he is going to continue to embed himself in red as he suggests he will try a fresh approach to the Monaco.

“I’m not sure either to be honest,” Hamilton stated when asked to predict Ferrari's Monaco form.
“We’ve been struggling, particularly on a single lap. So I don’t know how that’s going to go.
“I’ve got some ideas that I’m going to try to apply next week that people have been a little bit reluctant to do, because we’ve had lots of other things to focus on.

“But I’m hoping next week we can find something to unlock some more performance. I really don’t know how this car’s going to be.”
The Scuderia drivers will be looking to keep up the impressive performance around the iconic streets of Monte Carlo this weekend for the Monaco Grand Prix.
