Lewis Hamilton has defended his relationship with Ferrari engineer Riccardo Adami, dismissing criticism as "bulls**t" following radio communication problems during the Monaco Grand Prix.
The seven-time world champion finished fifth at Monaco last weekend and thanked his team for repairing his car after a crash in FP3.
However, there was radio silence from his team during the cooldown lap, prompting Hamilton to ask "are you upset with me or something?" with still no response from the Ferrari pit wall.
Hamilton said: "There were areas that we just had radio problems. I didn't get all the information I wanted and that was it. There's a lot of speculation. I mean, most of it's bulls**t."

Hamilton had been given a three-grid place penalty for impeding Max Verstappen after he was told the wrong information by Adami in qualifying.
The British driver was informed that Verstappen was on a slow lap, so did not get out of the way when he was actually on a flying lap.
The miscommunication between Hamilton and his Ferrari engineer resulted in the grid penalty that affected his starting position for the Monaco race.

The communication issues at Monaco follow previous tensions between Hamilton and his Ferrari team.
During the Miami GP, Hamilton sarcastically told his new team to have a "tea break" after they rowed over swapping places with Charles Leclerc.
The incident highlighted ongoing adjustments as Hamilton settles into his new environment at Ferrari following his move from Mercedes.

Meanwhile, Lando Norris has dismissed suggestions that the championship fight is only between him and teammate Oscar Piastri.
Piastri currently leads Norris by three points at the top of the standings, with Verstappen 25 points behind the Australian driver in third place.
The McLaren star rejected claims that the title race has narrowed to just the two McLaren drivers.

Norris said: "Mathematically, the whole grid can win the championship. If you think it's just out of me and Oscar, you're a bit silly."
As for Piastri, the Australian said his relationship with Norris remains positive despite their current battle.

“Of course it is an interesting dynamic, but my relationship with Lando at the track, and away from the track, is very similar to how it has been, and, if anything, we get along better now than we ever have," he said.
“The way we work together to give ourselves the best chance of success is still as strong as ever, and that has been a strength from the moment we have been team-mates.
“We get along very well. That hasn’t changed. I don’t expect it to change. But obviously we are both trying to win a world championship and only one of us can do it.”
