Martin Brundle was involved in an awkward moment with Kim Kardashian at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.
Kardashian is widely rumoured to be in a relationship with Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, though neither party has actually confirmed anything.
On Sunday, in France, the celebrity was in attendance to watch the action unfold.
But Brundle's attempts to talk to Kardashian were thwarted by her entourage, much to his dismay.
At first, Kardashian appeared willing to give an interview.
However, after a member of her team whispered something in her ear, the 45-year-old instead opted to decline and pretend as though he wasn't there.
Fans on social media have reacted to the incident, with many unimpressed by Kardashian's behaviour.
"Kim Kardashian embarrassing Lewis Hamilton by refusing to engage with the legend that is Martin Brundle," said one user.

And a fifth stated: "If Kim Kardashian wants to hang out in the grid - a simple hi! Wouldn’t have killed her. When Brundle approached her!! We don’t do divas at F1."

Kardashian and Hamilton have been seen on several trips in recent months, including visits to the Cotswolds, Arizona, Japan and California.
Despite the speculation, however, neither has publicly confirmed they are in a relationship.
Meanwhile, after finishing third in qualifying on Saturday, Hamilton expressed high hopes for Sunday's showpiece event.
"I'm in a really good place with the car, I'm in a really good place with the team," said the veteran.
"You can see that I have decent pace still in me. There's no lacking of pace, which I'm really grateful and happy about, regardless of all the negative comments people have made over time.

On his vehicle, he added: "The car was really in a bad place, so in Q1 I was seven tenths down or something like that and had to make huge adjustments to the wing in order to try and rebalance the car for some reason, so I'm not quite sure exactly what went wrong. We will deep dive into it.
"Ultimately, we lost the chance to fight for the front row going into qualifying with the balance that we ended up with, so it's a bit of a surprise. But I'm still grateful.
"I got everything I could out of it at the end with the balance that I had. The car was on the edge. I was on the edge as much as I could be."
