The England captain Harry Kane has officially confirmed he is leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich in a deal worth more than €110million (£95million).
The 30-year-old is the Premier League club’s all-time top scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.
Announcing the news on his own social media channels, Harry Kane said: “Hard to put into words how to say goodbye to a club and fans who have done so much for me in my career.
“You will always be in my heart. Thank you Tottenham, thank you Tottenham fans.”

Speaking to camera, Kane said: "I felt this was the time to leave. I didn't want to go into the season with a lot of unresolved talk.
"I think it's important for the new manager and the players to concentrate on trying to get Tottenham back to around the top of the table and fighting for trophies."
He added: "It's not a goodbye because you never know how things will pan out in the future."
Kane, who has won the Premier League Golden Boot three times, has never won a major trophy with club or country.
Kane is England's all-time leading scorer with 58 international goals.
On joining Bayern, Kane said: "I'm very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I've always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career.

The German champions announced their summer splash signing with a quirky video that sees a black tie clad Kane in a cinema, turning to face the camera and grimacing awkwardly.
Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen said the deal had been "a long process" but heralded Kane as an "absolute dream player right from the start".
Dreesen said: "He is a perfect fit for us and the club's DNA in terms of both football and character. World-class centre forwards have always been an important factor when FC Bayern has celebrated its greatest triumphs, and we're convinced that Harry Kane will continue this success story."

Kane could be in action straight away, with a debut on the cards in Saturday's German Super Cup game against RB Leipzig.
Club president Herbert Hainer admitted that the transfer "required tenacity, bite and perseverance," but promised that "Kane will not only strengthen FC Bayern, but also be a real asset to the entire Bundesliga."
With just one year left on his Spurs contract, Kane's future had been the subject of much speculation.
The striker took home the Golden Boot in 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2020-21.
