Luke Littler pulled off an extraordinary comeback at the World Grand Prix in Leicester on Friday evening, fighting back from two sets down to defeat Gerwyn Price 3-2 in a simply astonishing quarter-final.
The 18-year-old sensation looked dead and buried when Price took a commanding lead, but somehow turned the match on its head.
Littler even survived three match darts from the Welshman before completing a comeback of the most dramatic fashion.
The teenager sealed victory with an incredible 152 checkout in the deciding leg, booking his place in tomorrow's semi-finals.

It's a result that ends Price's hold over Littler, who had previously lost six consecutive matches against the Iceman.
The match started brilliantly for Price, who took the opening leg with his trademark boisterous celebration. When he repeated the gesture after winning the third leg, Littler could only smile at his opponent's antics.
But nothing was going right for the young star initially. His usually lethal finishing completely deserted him as he kept finding the wire instead of the doubles.

Price capitalised on every mistake, racing into a two-set lead while Littler could only watch in frustration.
Wayne Mardle on commentary for Sky Sports didn't mince his words on the teenager: "He is having an absolute stinker so far."

The Welshman was ruthless, punishing every missed double as Littler's game fell apart.
The comeback began in the third set when Price's doubling, that had been so reliable up until this point, suddenly went missing. Littler grabbed his chance, winning three straight legs to halve the deficit.
But Price moved within touching distance of victory in the fourth set. That's when Littler produced magic - a stunning 154 finish kept him alive.

Price then had his moment. Three darts to win the match, three simply unbelievable misses.
Littler pounced on the reprieve, holding his throw and breaking Price's to force a decider. The momentum had completely shifted, and everyone in the Mattioli Arena could feel it.
The final set was pure drama. Littler moved 2-0 ahead before Price roared back with a spectacular 156 checkout to level things up.

In the deciding leg, nerves got to both players - Littler needed six darts to get started while Price required eight. Then came the moment of magic: Littler nailed a sensational 152 finish to complete the comeback and win the enthralling encounter.
Price, who had interacted with the crowd at times on the evening, took to his Instagram story to express his frustrations after the match.
"Wow, gutted. And this is why we need to play majors in neutral venues/countries, Luke was great in patches at the right time in the end, but I lost that one again," he wrote.
Littler, on the other hand, was a little more upbeat in his assessment.
"My sore throat is definitely worth it!" The world No2 said afterwards. "I went 2-0 up and I thought I'm guaranteed on my throw to throw for the match. I said to myself this has to go and it went."
While he may need a breather after that astonishing match-up, Littler has no time to rest. He'll face Jonny Clayton in tomorrow's semi-final after the Welshman demolished Dirk van Duijvenbode 3-0.
