The 18-year-old is through to the semi-finals of the competition

Luke Littler’s girlfriend, Faith Millar, was all smiles in the stands as the teenage world champion staged another remarkable comeback to beat Gerwyn Price in one of the most dramatic matches of the World Grand Prix so far.

The 18-year-old, who looked to be heading for an early exit after falling two sets and three match darts behind, turned the quarter-final on its head in Leicester on Friday night.

In a tense deciding leg, Littler produced a moment of brilliance to check out 152 and clinch victory, erupting in a roar of disbelief and triumph as the crowd inside the Mattioli Arena rose to its feet.

Cameras immediately cut to the players’ lounge, where Faith Millar was seen celebrating the win with a beaming smile.

Dressed casually in a cream fleece, she jumped to her feet and hugged another woman — believed to be Littler’s mother, Lisa — as the pair savoured yet another milestone in the teenager’s meteoric rise.

Faith, a beautician from Wigan, has been by Littler’s side since the early months of this year and is regularly spotted cheering him on at tournaments.

Her visible delight reflected the magnitude of the win, which not only carried Littler into the semi-finals but also guaranteed him £40,000 in prize money, with the potential to more than triple that figure should he lift the trophy.

Saturday’s semi-final against fellow Welshman Jonny Clayton will now see Littler chase a place in the World Grand Prix final and a first title in the unique “double-in” format.

Luke Humphries faces Danny Noppert in the other semi-final, setting up the prospect of a heavyweight showdown should both top seeds advance.

For Littler, the win over Price was more than just another display of resilience — it was another step toward cementing his status as the sport’s brightest young star.

The Warrington-born prodigy, who is already closing in on Humphries for the world No 1 ranking, showed maturity beyond his years to hold his nerve as the match descended into chaos.

After the win, Littler admitted that surviving match darts and battling through adversity was becoming something of a habit.

His composure under pressure has already earned comparisons to darts’ greatest champions, and his success has brought the same spotlight to those closest to him — Faith included.

The pair’s relationship, which began in February, has blossomed alongside Littler’s rapid ascent.

Faith joined the Littler family for a summer holiday in Spain earlier this year and has become a regular figure in his support circle, often offering him a good-luck kiss before he takes to the oche.

Littler recently revealed that he intends to take time away from the sport next year to enjoy some normality amid his whirlwind rise.

“I didn’t have the chance this year,” he told Darts News.

“Last year I managed to, but this year has just been full-on.

“That comes with winning the Worlds — more to do, more people to talk to.

“But in 2026, there’ll definitely be a few holidays for me.

“I’ll take the time to go away with my girlfriend and family, without even thinking about darts.”

For now, though, focus remains on Leicester and the next challenge that awaits.
