"Just trying to do an exhibition in Norwich and this happens, absolute scum of the earth," the teenage champion posted alongside the photo showing the smashed rear window.

The vandalism occurred while Littler was inside the venue competing against Humphries, who is currently ranked first in the world while Littler holds the second position.

Littler made history in January when he became the youngest-ever darts world champion, defeating Michael van Gerwen in the final of the PDC's flagship event at Alexandra Palace.

The emotional victory saw Littler in tears after throwing the winning dart in front of an electric crowd.

His achievement broke the previous record held by van Gerwen himself, who won the first of his three world titles in 2014 at the age of 24.

Littler's remarkable success at such a young age has established him as one of the sport's brightest stars and most recognisable figures.
