Tyson Fury's sensational return to boxing has now been confirmed.
For months, speculation has rumbled on as to whether the Gypsy King would be coming back to the ring - having previously retired in January 2025 following a disappointing defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Fury will fight again, however, with the 37-year-old poised to do battle with Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Announcing his comeback bout, the British boxing star said: “Excited to be back. Heart’s always been and always will be in boxing. Someone go tell the king that the ace is back!”
Makhmudov, for his part, reacted by saying: “I am thrilled about the opportunity. I’m coming to deliver a War.
“Tyson Fury has been a big champion. I will be more ready than ever to leave with a massive W.”
Fury is eyeing bigger fights already, however. He's not been afraid to mince his words, expressing interest in a trilogy contest with Usyk. Fabio Wardley is another person he's interested in facing. Anthony Joshua, if he's able to return to the ring in the wake of last month's tragic car crash, remains on the table.

The Briton wants a slice of the Netflix pie. He's previously been honest, admitting that he's money-driven - as well as ambitious to make more history in the sport.
Netflix have been paying the big bucks. Mike Tyson, Jake Paul and Joshua are just three stars who have raked in millions from the streaming service. Now, Fury will be up next.
One person who will perhaps be furious with his decision to return to the sport, however, is wife Paris.

He said: “I know his wife doesn’t want him to fight, his brothers don’t want him to fight. So that’s going to be his choice.
“But if he is going to fight, I’d much rather he does it now rather than come back in three or four years.”
Paris herself, in November last year, suggested she wanted him to stay retired while speaking on the Extraordinary Life Stories podcast.
"As it stands at the minute, touch wood, he is sticking to his guns and staying retired," she said.
Reports have even indicated that Fury's own father, John Fury, would prefer for his son to enjoy his millions - rather than adding to them.

Fury will know there's no room for error, however.
For years, he was able to boast about being unbeaten. Two defeats to Usyk have somewhat dented his reputation, however, and fans will be wondering whether he can ever scale the same heights of old.
Wife Paris will undoubtedly be hoping he emerges from April's bout unscathed. She'll be cheering him on, as she always has, even if this latest return goes against her wishes.
