Mike Tyson's business empire continues to grow

Boxing legend Mike Tyson revealed a fresh business collaboration with French combat sports manufacturer Venum through his Instagram story today.

The former heavyweight champion shared promotional material featuring the "Venum x Tyson" campaign title, with comprehensive information about the partnership scheduled for release on 15 October 2025.

The combat sports equipment company responded to the announcement with their own Instagram post, writing "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth #venumtyson".

Venum, which generates yearly revenues of $63.9 million (£50million) according to GrowJo, currently serves as the exclusive supplier of fight kits and athletic wear for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Venum assumed the role of UFC's official outfitting partner in 2022, taking over from Reebok which had held the position since July 2015.

The French brand provides fight kits, training gear and merchandise for UFC athletes, coaches and supporters.

The partnership has flourished, with Venum securing an extension through 2025 and subsequently renewing their agreement until the decade's end. The deal includes obligations to release two fresh collections each year.

"Venum has been an amazing partner these past few years, and we are thrilled to continue our relationship with them through the end of the decade," stated Tracey Bleczinski, UFC's senior vice president for global consumer products.

"The key to the success of this partnership is that Venum understands the unique needs of the fighters competing in the Octagon."

The Venum deal represents the latest addition to Tyson's flourishing business portfolio, which includes his cannabis enterprise Tyson 2.0, valued at $160million (£120million through his partnership with Carma HoldCo Inc. The brand recently expanded into Ohio through a collaboration with Ohio Green Systems.

"I'm pumped to bring TYSON 2.0 back to Ohio," Tyson stated in his capacity as co-founder and chief brand officer.

"Partnering with Ohio Green Systems means fans and patients here get the best of what we do, from edibles to vapes."

The former champion has also secured a partnership with energy supplement company LF*Go, where he recently spoke about financial literacy.

"Handling money is an art. You have to go somewhere and learn the art of handling money. No one's born knowing how to handle money," Tyson said at the brand's press conference.

Tyson's remarkable business transformation follows his 2003 bankruptcy filing, marking a dramatic reversal of fortune for the boxing icon.
