Imane Khelif has signalled intent to defend the Olympic title at the 2028 Los Angeles Games by posting an intense training video on Instagram.
The Algerian boxer's defiant display comes just days after the International Olympic Committee announced mandatory sex testing for all athletes wishing to participate in women's events.
Under the new IOC regulations, competitors with Disorders of Sex Development must demonstrate they gain no advantage from elevated testosterone levels.
The 26-year-old welterweight champion, who possesses naturally high testosterone and uses medication to lower it, has declared an openness to submit to any required testing to secure a place at the next Olympics.
