Chris Eubank Sr has threatened to make a shock return to boxing at the age of 58 in a desperate bid to discourage his son from pursuing a rematch with Conor Benn.
The former world champion, who previously insisted nothing could tempt him back to the ring, has now issued an ultimatum to Chris Eubank Jr following last month's dramatic encounter at Tottenham.
Despite having ruled out any comeback for financial gain, Senior has warned he will lace up the gloves for an exhibition match if his 35-year-old son continues his boxing career.
The ultimatum was delivered during the latest episode of Eubank Sr's Call Chris Eubank podcast, where he made his position crystal clear.

"If you don't get back into the ring Jr, then neither will I," he declared.
"But if you get back in the ring, I will get back in the ring in some exhibition match.
"I'm going to pressure you. You want to fight again? OK, then I will fight too. Cause I'm with you."
The former middleweight and super-middleweight champion believes his son has nothing left to prove after his performance against Benn.
Eubank Jr is understood to be on course for a September 27 rematch with Benn, following their incredible catchweight clash at Tottenham last month.
The 35-year-old secured a decision victory over his rival but was subsequently hospitalised with severe dehydration after the bout.
Eubank made an eleventh-hour decision to attend the original fight and has since begged his namesake to "sail off into the sunset while he still has all his faculties".
The former champion hopes the threat of his own return will be enough to scare his son away from further competition.
Eubank's stance represents a dramatic reversal from his previous position on retirement, having consistently ruled out any return since calling time on his legendary career in 1998.
In an exclusive interview, the boxing icon had emphatically stated: "I wouldn't sell my peace of mind for the world."

He previously declared that "all the gold in Buckingham Palace could not make this king go back in there and put it on the line".
"I'm happy. You show me a man that would jeopardise his happiness and I'll show you a fool."
The former champion had resisted temptation unlike other retired fighters such as Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson.
