Boxing star Anderson Silva has announced his plans to join the police in the United States following his victory over Tyron Woodley in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The duo did battle on the undercard ahead of Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Despite being 50, Woodley defeated his opponent in the second round via knockout - with a powerful uppercut knocking his rival to the canvas.
It was a sensational performance from the former MMA star, with the Brazilian now winning his third professional boxing fight.

And the 50-year-old, speaking in the aftermath of his triumph, announced his plans to become a police officer because he 'wants to give something back'.
“I keep going," he said.
“I'll go back to work right now and start my police academy. I’m going to become a police officer. I need to give something back to the US."

Woodley was also asked if he'd expected a quick fight.
He added: “I have the young kids to push me hard every day, the amazing team in Brazil, and my coaches.
“No, I just tried to take my time. I’m lucky, but lucky is the people training hard, and I’m lucky.”

The 24-year-old defeated Camilla Panatta after all three of the judges scored the contest in her favour.
Despite her victory, however, the Briton was harsh on herself and suggested she should have actually performed better.
"I feel like I could have done more," she said.
"I could've given it a bit, but it's my first time fighting in America.
"I'd just like to thank everyone watching at home and in the arena who paid their hard-earned money, especially so close to Christmas."

Dubois has been linked with a fight against unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner.
When asked about that possibility, however, she distanced herself from speculation and suggested it wasn't in her thoughts right now - but could take place further down the line.
Meanwhile, Paul and Joshua's fight will take place at 3.50am.
Joshua enters as the overwhelming favourite - but certainly has a point to prove, having last fought back in September 2024.
