The royal has been seen at the racecourses numerous times this year

Zara Tindall, a keen racegoer, attended Cheltenham racecourse on the day of her mother, Princess Anne's, wedding anniversary.

Mrs Tindall was seen wearing a navy blue rollneck jumper coordinated with a pair of leather gloves and boots.

The royal, 44, has frequented Cheltenham throughout the year, always donning a stylish outfit.

"My number one style tip for dressing at Cheltenham would be to create a balance between elegance and practicality," Mrs Tindall told Hello!.

She told the magazine: "Choose a classic, tailored outfit, but make sure to incorporate layers and weather-appropriate accessories.

"For me, it's about what works and feels good to wear. For events where I have to get more dressed up, I work with an amazing stylist who's brilliant at finding pieces that reflect the type of event it is."

Her outing came as Princess Anne wrapped up to brace the wet and windy weather to represent King Charles at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on her wedding anniversary.

The Princess Royal inspected officer cadets at the third Sovereign's Parade of 2025.

The parade marked the completion of 44 weeks of intensive training for the Officer Cadets of Commissioning Course 251, all of whom will officially hold the King's Commission as of the stroke of midnight.

There were 27 international cadets from 17 countries, with 184 from the senior intake in the parade.

Anne was seen wearing a long blue coat with a matching hat and high boots, arriving via helicopter at the event.

Despite others putting up their umbrellas, the Princess Royal dealt with the conditions as she inspected the officers.

Zara's appearance at the races came a week after she attended Westminster Abbey alongside her husband, Mike Tindall, in a show of support for Princess Kate.

The couple joined several other royals at the Together At Christmas Carol Service.

Princess Kate devoted many months to organising the candle-lit service alongside her team.

The princess was joined by Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The service centred on celebrating love in its many forms, from familial bonds and friendships to community spirit and acts of kindness between strangers.

Some 1,600 guests from across the United Kingdom attended the event, who have given their time to support others, launched community-building projects, or offered help to those in need.

Guests arriving at the Abbey were greeted by music from eight musicians aged 13 to 18, performing as a specially assembled brass ensemble.

The service will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve as part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, with a repeat airing on Christmas Day morning.
