The royal assisted with moving the left wheel of the mobility aid

Zara Tindall helped a racegoer at Cheltenham Festival with their wheelchair in an act of kindness from the royal.

Princess Anne's daughter stepped in to help the wheelchair pusher get set up, as she moved her handbag to her right hand and assisted with one of the wheels.

The sweet moment was captured on camera, highlighting the selflessness shown by Mrs Tindall.

The royal was in attendance with her future sister-in-law, Harriet Sperling.

Mrs Tindall, 44, looked lovely in a plum wool "Finchley" coat from The Fold London, which she paired with a £450 "Rio" velvet bandeau headband from Sally Ann Provan.

To accessorise, the mother-of-three carried a crackled leather M bag in burgundy from Maje, which retails for £329.

She attended alongside her husband, Mike Tindall, who posed for photographs with Ms Sperling and her fiancé, Peter Phillips, the elder brother of Mrs Tindall.

Ms Sperling, 45, wore the Winchester Coat Dress Check from Suzannah, a brand famously loved by the Duchess of Edinburgh, who wore the label at King Charles's Coronation in 2023.

The £2,550 "soft and feminine coat dress" is made from "beautiful Virgin wool check tweed", according to the product description.

Mr Phillips's fiancée carried the "Mortimer" textured-leather clutch from Anya Hindmarch in mint, which retails for £1,150.

Finally, Ms Sperling donned the £250 "Selene" wool felt cocktail hat in brown from Jane Taylor London.

Mr Phillips and Ms Sperling have been dating for nearly two years, having first met in early 2024.

They made their first public appearance as a couple on May 12, 2024 at the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire.

Their engagement was officially announced on August 1, 2025.

A statement issued for the couple by Gerard Franklin, Mr Phillips's spokesman, read: "Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official engagement.

"Both families were informed jointly of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement.

"Their Majesties The King and Queen, The Prince and Princess of Wales, have been informed of the announcement.

"No date has been officially set for the wedding."

Today marks the first time Mr Phillips and Ms Sperling attended the Cheltenham Festival in 2026, unlike the Tindalls, who were present every day this week.
