Sarah Ferguson has shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, to mark her 37th birthday, with a deeply personal message and emotional video.
The Duchess of York posted the tribute on Instagram, choosing to honour Beatrice with a sentimental clip showing the mother and daughter duo warmly embracing at a Youth Impact Council event.
The video captured the duo staring into each other’s eyes, smiling and laughing, clearly enjoying a private moment of affection. The post was set to the Ellie Goulding version of Elton John’s classic hit 'Your Song'.
“Happy Birthday my darling Beatrice,” Sarah began her caption. “There’s nothing quite like holding you in my arms and feeling the incredible bond we’ve shared since the day you were born.

"You continue to inspire me every single day with your strength, your kindness, and the beautiful way you love and care for your family.
“Moments like this will never get old and I cherish them more than words can say. The hugs, the laughter, the quiet understanding between us.
"You make me so proud to be your mum, and I feel endlessly grateful for the woman you’ve become.”
The tribute reflected the uniquely close relationship the Duchess shares with Beatrice and comes at a time when public messages from the Royal Family for the Princess were notably absent.

Both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace remained silent on Beatrice’s birthday, due to her non-working royal status.
Despite being the daughter of Prince Andrew and the late Queen’s granddaughter, Beatrice does not carry out official royal duties, which often means her milestones are marked privately rather than through official royal channels.
As of the time of writing, Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, has not posted a birthday message on social media, nor has her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The couple share two daughters, Sienna and baby Athena, who was born in January this year, but typically keep their family life out of the spotlight.

Beatrice, who works full-time in business and philanthropy, has maintained a relatively low public profile over the years, occasionally attending royal events but largely focusing on her private and professional commitments.
Fergie’s warm message serves as a reminder of the strong personal connections that exist within the Royal Family, even for those who operate largely outside the public royal sphere.
The Duchess's post has already begun attracting heartfelt comments from fans, praising the touching tribute and the visible love between mother and daughter.
