Idris Elba and Kate Garraway were also present for the exciting occasion

King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at the Royal Albert Hall this evening for a glittering celebration marking half a century of the King's Trust.

The royal couple, both in high spirits, walked the red carpet at the iconic London venue where they were greeted by television hosts Ant and Dec.

Charles joked with the presenting duo, noting it had been "a long time" since their last meeting and complimenting them on their youthful appearance.

Anthony McPartlin, 50, quipped in response that he had "a lot of makeup on".

The pair have backed the charity for over two decades and are hosting tonight's proceedings.

Hollywood power couple George and Amal Clooney made a striking impression on the red carpet, posing for photographs alongside British beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury, who wore a metallic off-the-shoulder gown.

Inside the venue, the King and Queen mingled with an impressive roster of British acting talent, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Gareth Southgate, and Idris Elba.

Lily Collins, the Emily in Paris star and daughter of Phil Collins, opted for an elegant strapless dress with understated jewellery and a sleek bob hairstyle.

Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood, 78, attended with his wife Sally, 48, the pair sporting coordinating sunglasses.

Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway also graced the red carpet in a floor-length gown.

Rita Ora, who will perform during the evening, turned heads on arrival with a dramatic floor-sweeping skirt.

She joins a stellar musical lineup that includes rock icon Sir Rod Stewart, Craig David, Anne Marie and Jools Holland.

As the King took his seat in the royal box, singer Ruby Turner performed the national anthem, with the audience rising to join in.

The celebration brings together some of Britain's most celebrated musical talents to honour the charity's five-decade legacy of supporting young people across the country and internationally.

Ant and Dec, longstanding supporters of the organisation, are guiding audiences through the evening's entertainment.

The King's Trust, founded by Charles in 1976, has spent five decades transforming the lives of young people throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.

Tonight's event, staged in partnership with TK Maxx, honours the achievements of those who have benefited from the charity's programmes.

Before the entertainment commenced, Charles and Camilla met with several young people who will receive awards during the ceremony.

The celebration recognises not only the organisation's history but also the continuing impact of its work with disadvantaged youth.

The evening serves as both a tribute to past successes and a showcase of the talent the charity has helped nurture.
