Robert Jenrick lavished praise on the Royal Family for "making Donald Trump weak at the knees" during his Tory Party Conference speech in Manchester today.
King Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed the President and US First Lady to Britain last month for a historic State Visit - the second time President Trump was awarded this opportunity as Leader of the Free World.
During their stay, the President and First Lady were treated to a State Banquet and spent a lot of time with the King, the Queen, Prince William and Princess Kate.
Following his visit, President Trump said he liked being with the "wonderful" King, adding: "I think just being with King Charles. He's a wonderful guy.
"I got to know him very well. I knew him before, but now I know him a little better."
President Trump was also asked if the First Lady enjoyed her time with the Princess of Wales after the two women joined forces for an engagement.
He replied: "She did. She thought she was great. I did too.
"I sat with her last night; Melania went with her today; she thought she was great.

"A very wonderful person. She went through a lot, too - but hopefully that's all gone.
"William is wonderful. And I knew Charles as a prince, and now I know him as a king, and he's doing very well.
"It was a lovely trip and I thought the press was really nice."

| PAMr Jenrick urged the Tories to “take our country back” as he told the party conference Britain was “too precious to lose”.
He explained: “We may be a little bit down, but our country is not out.”
Mr Jenrick argued that there is “much to cherish about who we are”, including British food and drink, a “love of pubs”, “love of animals”, and sporting heroes such as the Red Roses and Chris Woakes.
Moving on to the monarchy, Mr Jenrick said he is proud to have a “Royal Family so admired they make the most powerful man in the world go weak at the knees”.

The speech took place at the Conservative Party Conference, which consists of fringe events, receptions, and speeches.
It also gives Tory Party members, the press, and the public a chance to learn about the party's ideas and policies for the year ahead.
