Denmark's Queen Mary has returned to her royal duties following her summer holiday, marking her first official appearance with a visit to a newly opened youth counselling facility in Tarnby.
The 53-year-old monarch toured Headspace Tarnby, a support centre serving young people between 12 and 25-years-old, where she participated in a communal singing session with staff members.
Mary's visit also coincides with her children flying the nest, with Crown Prince Christian returning to military training and Princess Josephine set to begin her education at a distant boarding school.
