American rapper Nicki Minaj has called on Prince Harry to return to the UK, drawing a comparison to the beloved 1982 science fiction film about an extraterrestrial stranded far from home.
The 43-year-old Super Bass singer, who has become a vocal fan of US President Donald Trump, shared her views about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during a new interview.
"Well... I think he should go home. Like ET, he should go home. Go phone home and then go home," Ms Minaj said.
Adopting a playful British accent, she added: "That's just me, darling. I have nothing but love for them."

The Queens-born artist professed her affection for the monarchy, noting that Americans are particularly enamoured with the institution: "I just love the Royal Family, as if I know them.
"But I think us as Americans love the idea of the Royal Family so much. I was just like...urgh."
Ms Minaj expressed disapproval of the duke's decision to speak publicly about royal matters.
"I did not think he should have aired the family's dirty laundry," she said during an appearance on The Kate Miller podcast.

Despite her criticism, the rapper emphasised she withholds judgement, acknowledging that outsiders cannot fully understand someone's motivations.
"People do things and you don't know why, and you don't know what's going on inside of them. So, I don't judge," she explained.
"But I was like, ah man, because I felt like I knew them in some way. So I was like, 'No Harry, don't do that. You know better.'"
Speaking in a fake British accent again, Ms Minaj remarked: "You know what I mean. But he did what he did."

The podcast discussion touched upon the well-documented rift between Harry and senior members of the Royal Family, particularly King Charles and Prince William.
Harry and Meghan stepped back from their duties as working royals in 2020, a decision that marked a significant rupture with the institution.
The couple subsequently relocated across the Atlantic, settling in Montecito, California, in 2021. They now reside there with their two children, son Archie, six, and daughter Lilibet, four.

Harry is anticipated to travel to Britain during the summer months in preparation for the Invictus Games, scheduled for 2027.
However, Harry has previously expressed concerns about his family's safety on British soil, stating he does not feel comfortable bringing them without police protection.
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly unwilling to accompany her husband unless their security arrangements are restored.
This condition presents a significant obstacle to any family reunion with the royals, as the couple's official protection was removed following their departure from royal duties.
