Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice back to work just days after Prince Harry's bombshell memoir rocked Royal Family

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice both undertook solo work just days after Prince Harry's explosive book Spare attacked the Royal Family.

Princess Eugenie opened a new music and sports centre at a grammar school, whilst Princess Beatrice attended the World Economic Forum.

Prince Andrew's daughters are both mentioned in the Duke of Sussex's autobiography, with Princess Eugenie's encounters with some of Harry's girlfriends including his wife Meghan Markle mentioned in the memoir.

Wilson's school said regarding the opening that took place last week: "We were delighted to celebrate the Grand Opening of our new music and sports facilities in the Britton Centre on Tuesday, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie.

"It was fitting to welcome a direct descendant of King James I, who gave permission for Edward Wilson to found our school in 1615, on this most special occasion.

"The Grand Opening marked the culmination of the most ambitious building project in the school’s recent history."

On Monday, Princess Beatrice attended the World Economic Forum.

Dr Anjhula Mya Singh Bais shared a picture of herself and Prince Andrew's eldest daughter, captioning the snap "royals and activism, Princess Beatrice."

The Duke of Sussex did not criticise his cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in his autobiography but he did fire multiple digs at his brother Prince William and his stepmother Camilla.

Prince Harry's memoirs have sold a record number of copies for a non-fiction book in the UK during its first week.

The controversial book contained multiple attacks on members of the Royal Family as well as some noticeable inconsistencies.

The autobiography is top of the books charts having sold 467,183 print copies which is also a domestic record.

Guinness World Records confirmed the book as the fastest-selling nonfiction book ever on its first day of publication.

Larry Finlay, managing director of Transworld, the Penguin Random House (PRH) division which published Spare in the UK, said: "We now know that it is also the biggest-selling memoir ever in its first week of publication."

Prince Harry's autobiography is the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK since Nielsen BookData’s records began in 1998.

Pinch of Nom cookbook by Kay Allinson, which sold 210,506 copies in its first three days of release in 2019 was the previous record holder.
