Princess Charlotte was spotted appearing to make a touching fashion tribute to her mother, Princess Kate, by eagle eyed royal fans.
In the Father's Day portraits released by the Wales family, the 10-year-old princess was spotted wearing a particularly special accessory once sported by her mother.
The young royal was seen with a green and navy tartan scarf that royal watcher sleuths recognised from Kate Middleton's wardrobe.
The oversized Kiltane cashmere scarf, which fell past Charlotte's knees, was nestled between her khaki jumper and her brother Prince Louis's outfit in the heartwarming photos released on Sunday.

The touching images, taken by photographer Josh Shinner, showed Prince William with all three children under a blooming cherry blossom tree.
Kate last wore this exact scarf on Christmas Day 2024 during the royal family's traditional walk to church at Sandringham.
The Princess of Wales styled the check cashmere accessory from Scottish brand Kiltane with a structured forest green Alexander McQueen coat, creating an elegant festive look.
She completed the ensemble with her signature Grace Han handbag and stunning blue topaz and diamond earrings from Robinson Pelham.

This isn't the first time the mother-daughter duo have shared fashion moments.
Just last week at Trooping the Colour, Kate and Charlotte coordinated beautifully in matching shades of blue.
Kate stunned in a bespoke aquamarine Catherine Walker coat dress featuring crisp white collar and cuff panels.
She paired the dress with beige Gianvito Rossi heels and a Juliette Millinery hat.

Charlotte echoed her mother's look in a pastel blue dress with a white band.
She completed her outfit with white Mary Janes and a special horseshoe brooch, a treasured gift from Queen Elizabeth that previously belonged to the Queen Mother.
The Queen Mother was first photographed wearing the jewellery in 1929, nearly a century ago.
Queen Elizabeth II gifted the historic brooch to her great-granddaughter, who first wore it publicly at the late monarch's funeral.
