The mother of Princess Beatrice's stepson has revealed that she has applied for a UK passport.

Dara Huang, a Floridian architect who shares 10-year-old Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) with her ex-boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, revealed the news on social media.

She wrote: "Life lately. Grounded in London for a while whilst I get my UK passport.

"Definitely the most time I have spent in one place but loving it."

As an architect, Ms Huang spends a lot of time travelling to luxurious cities in Switzerland, Austria, Dubai and France.

She is the founder of Design Haus Liberty, an international architecture, interiors and design practice established in London in 2013.

The company is known for designing furniture for the popular chain restaurant, Joe & the Juice.

Ms Huang currently lives in London with Wolfie, though she frequently travels back to Florida to visit her parents, Po-Tien Huang and Lily Huang.

Wolfie's father, Mr Mapelli Mozzi, married Princess Beatrice in 2020 and resides in the Cotswolds.

Beatrice and her property developer husband additionally have an apartment at St James's Palace in the capital.

After marrying at the Royal Chapel of All Saints on July 17, 2020, the Mapelli Mozzis welcomed two daughters: Sienna, four, and Athena, one.

Ms Huang moved to the UK when she began dating Mr Mapelli Mozzi in 2015, and they welcomed their son the following year.

A property developer himself, Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 42, founded Banda Property in 2007.

The firm is known for its "design for living" ethos, which blends historic architecture with bespoke, contemporary interiors.

Ms Huang's Instagram post featured images of Wolfie playing sports at school, various architecture photographs, and dinners out in London.
