Princess Beatrice appeared to channel Meghan Markle's style with a £259 shirt at Wimbledon today.

The Princess of York wore a blue striped shirt from Sandro that featured a shirt collar, long sleeves and embroidered flowers with rhinestones and pearl beads.

The Duchess of Sussex had accompanied Princess Kate to watch Serena Williams at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Princess Beatrice attended Wimbledon today alongside her mother, Sarah Ferguson.

This marked the Duchess of York's first appearance at the world-famous grass court since 2001.

Fergie, 65, wore a Me + Em Jacquard Rich floral print maxi dress and tie, which retails for £350.

Its description says: "Comfortable and confident, this maxi dress spotlights a rich floral print and is crafted from a viscose crepe with a textural jacquard finish for a subtle sheen.

"The long balloon sleeves are elevated with fabric-covered buttons for a subtle cutout effect along the shoulders, before falling to fitted cuffs."

Sarah and Beatrice were joined in the Royal Box by an array of notable figures, including David Beckham, actor Eddie Redmayne, and writer Richard Osman.

Singer Ronan Keating and Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs were also among the distinguished guests on the opening day.

Adding to the royal connections, Dara Huang confirmed she would attend today's tournament.

Huang is the mother of Princess Beatrice's stepson, Wolfie, whom she co-parents with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The tournament faces extreme weather conditions, with temperatures expected to reach 34°C in central and eastern England today.

This could make it the hottest opening day in Wimbledon's history, surpassing the previous record of 29.3°C set on June 25, 2001.
