Prince William will compete in the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025 this Friday at Guards Polo Club.

The Prince of Wales returns to the field for his fourteenth appearance in the annual charity match.

The event, scheduled for 11th July, will generate funds for ten charitable organisations supported by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

This year's match is expected to push the total amount raised through the event beyond £14 million, marking a significant milestone for the royal charity initiative.

The ten beneficiaries include Child Bereavement UK, Royal African Society, Fields in Trust, We Are Farming Minds, Anna Freud Centre, Family Action, Forward Trust, East Anglia's Children's Hospices, NHS Charities Together and British Red Cross.

These organisations carry out vital work across various sectors, from mental health support to agricultural welfare and children's services.

The funds raised will enable them to continue their essential programmes and expand their reach to those in need throughout the UK.

It comes as the Prince of Wales is travelling to Zurich to attend the second Women’s Euro 2025 group stage match between England and the Netherlands.

The Prince of Wales was accompanied by Prince George in Germany to watch England suffer a 2-1 defeat to Spain in the final of the tournament, however, GB News understands that the young royal will not be joining his father at this evening's game.

The trip to Switzerland comes just one day after Prince William took centre stage in welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte for their State Visit to the UK on Tuesday.
