Blue Peter’s Joel Mawhinney will give the 41-year-old his special green Blue Peter badge on Friday, October 13, during an anniversary episode of the iconic children's show.
During the programme, the prince will help Mawhinney present the "big badge wall", which features nature-themed drawings and letters sent in by viewers.

The green badge was introduced in November 1988, when Prince William was just six-years-old.
For over 35 years, it has been the main focus of Blue Peter’s environmental efforts, rewarding children who prove they care about the planet.
Specifically, they look for children who have helped come up with solutions to climate change, recycling, and protecting animals.
Mawhinney, who is also a magician, shows William a card trick during the programme.
