Princess Kate ensured Prince Louis wasn't forgotten during Sunday's Wimbledon men's final, asking champion Jannik Sinner to sign an extra tennis ball for her youngest son, who stayed at home.
The Princess of Wales attended the match at SW19 with Prince William and their two eldest children, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 10, watching from the Royal Box as Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz.
Following the Italian player's victory, the Waleses congratulated him courtside. Kate specifically requested three signed tennis balls, explaining to Sinner that they were "taking one for their brother" to prevent the seven-year-old from feeling left out.
The Princess kept her youngest son close to her heart through her choice of jewellery, wearing a £3,000 9ct gold pendant from Daniella Draper adorned with gemstones representing April's birthstone - the month Louis was born.

During their interaction with the new champion, footage captured George and Charlotte politely shaking hands with Sinner, telling him it was "very nice to meet you."
Kate laughed as she explained the extra tennis ball request, saying: "We're taking one for their brother," prompting William to add: "Louis will be upset otherwise."
The mother-of-three then offered her congratulations, telling Sinner: "Huge congratulations" whilst shaking his hand.
Kate has served as patron of the All England Lawn and Tennis Club since 2016, taking over the role from the late Queen Elizabeth II, who held the position for 64 years.

The Princess appeared radiant in a Roksanda blue dress for her second consecutive day at the All England Club, having presented the trophy at Saturday's women's final in a cream Self-Portrait look.
She wore her traditional "Wimbledon bow" - a green and purple brooch featuring the tournament's iconic colours, gifted to her by Queen Elizabeth II as a symbol of royal patronage.
Members of the Committee of Management wear the accessory during the tournament fortnight.
The Princess received a warm reception upon her arrival at Centre Court, with spectators giving her a standing ovation reminiscent of her appearance at last year's tournament.
