Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise outing together at a glamorous charity event in Santa Barbara, their first appearance since the duke's reunion with King Charles earlier this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen arm in arm as they attended the fundraiser at the oceanside estate of Hollywood actor Kevin Costner.
Harry returned to the US earlier this month, following a four-day trip to the UK which brought him face to face with his estranged father for the first time in over a year and a half.
On September 10, King Charles shared “a private tea” with his son at Clarence House for just under an hour - with their last meeting occurring in February 2024, shortly after the monarch’s cancer treatment was announced.

On Saturday evening, Harry and Meghan attended the One805LIVE! concert at Kevin Costner's Santa Barbara home in support of local emergency services.
It was the first time the Sussexes have shared a joint public engagement in 21-weeks.
The event, which benefits fire, police and sheriff departments in Santa Barbara County, saw the royal couple arrive unexpectedly at the Mr Costner's Carpinteria estate.
Their attendance also marked the third consecutive year Harry had attended the annual fundraising concert.

On the night, Meghan appeared in a sleeveless midnight blue dress paired with nude court shoes.
Meanwhile, Harry opted for smart casual attire comprising black trousers, a dark shirt and matching blazer.
During the evening's proceedings, Meghan briefly accompanied her husband onstage before embracing him and stepping aside.
She watched from the wings as the duke presented an honour to Mark Hartwig, Santa Barbara County's Fire Chief.

Last year, Harry reflected his own experience as an army helicopter pilot when he honoured air support pilot Loren Courtney.
The duke and duchess were seen, arm and arm, at the soiree as they appeared relaxed and cheerful throughout.
Also present on the night was talk show legend, and key Sussex ally, Oprah Winfrey.
Musical performances at the benefit included sets by country artist Trisha Yearwood, rock band Good Charlotte and alternative group The Fray.

Harry was similarly supportive of charities in the UK during his visit earlier this month, which began with attending the WellChild Awards.
The duke made several generous donations to other causes he supports, including a huge £1.1million to Children in Need.
He also pledged a further £370,000 to charities supporting injured children in Gaza and Ukraine.
After the packed tour of his homeland, Harry then made an unannounced trip to Ukraine to support the efforts of his Invictus Foundation in helping injured military personnel.
