Prince Harry is stuck in “limbo” while “full-on Californian” wife, Meghan Markle, takes the lead with the couple’s public face to the world, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been gradually increasing their public profile in recent months, spearheaded by Meghan’s Instagram account and business ventures.
Over the past week, Meghan has given royal fans an unprecedented insight into her life with Harry as they celebrated Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday.
In one of her social media posts marking the day, Meghan shared an unseen video from 2021 that showed her dancing, and twerking, while heavily pregnant in a maternity ward delivery room.
Royal expert Dr Tessa Dunlop determined Harry was in 'limbo' amid Meghan's social media blitz

Harry was seen alongside his wife as he showed off his own moves, supporting Meghan as she attempted to bring on the birth of their daughter.
Royal historian Dr Tessa Dunlop believed the viral clip represented the very different backgrounds of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“His wooden moves were a reminder of the stiff royal world he has left behind,” the expert told The Mirror.
Dunlop observed that: “The poor Prince was caught in limbo, somewhere between his full-on Californian earthmother and a former life riddled with institutions.”
Dunlop believed Meghan's recent throwback dancing video presented the differing backgrounds of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

The historian revealed she “pitied” the situation where Meghan was “working on her rhythm at university in Illinois” while Harry was “languishing at Eton College where lessons were of a very different kind.”
Instead of criticising the divide, Dunlop celebrated that the “celebrity duchess has her hand on the tiler”.
“Nothing is out of bounds as long as she controls the clicks,” the expert observed, highlighting how much their public persona might change after the viral dancing video.
Dunlop also believed that “oversharing” could now be Meghan's “unique selling point”.

To that end, Dunlop also made a prediction about the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, who have remained mostly hidden from public view.
The two youngsters are usually seen from behind or with their faces obscured.
This has remained the case in Meghan’s first post since sharing the dancing video, in which she gave an inside look at a family trip to Disneyland.
However, Dunlop speculated the anonymity may soon change as she predicted it would “only be a matter of time before we get a proper peek at Lilibet and Archie”.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
Regardless, Dunlop was full of praise for Meghan’s new approach to social media.
"Full marks to Meghan for constantly surprising, and out-manoeuvring, the naysayers.
“The vibe, the love, the crazy overdue drama, and the sheer audacity. The haters were horrified,” she celebrated.
Since being posted, the clip has notched 37.6 millions views, making it Meghan's most popular Instagram reel by a significant margin.
