Royal fans were left amazed as Prince George towered over the Princess of Wales at Trooping the Colour today.
An officer from the RAF escorted Catherine and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to a waiting carriage following the Trooping the Colour ceremony at Horse Guards Parade, where fans noticed the height of the future king.
Despite wearing heels, Prince George, 12, appeared almost as tall as his mother, while Charlotte, 11, and Louis, eight, were visibly much shorter.
One fan wrote on X: "George is as tall as his mother at 5’9."
Another said: "Omg Catherine is wearing heels and look George is still almost as tall. Great family pic."
Similarly, someone commented: "Wow, Prince George is so tall. Princess Catherine looks beautiful as always."
Additionally, one posted: "George is getting close to being as tall as his mum. Might be pretty close if she isn’t wearing heels."
Another wrote: "Oh my god, look how tall George and Louis are. Louis is not a baby anymore."

A royal watcher added: "Prince George is so grown up."
Finally, someone said: "How grown up our Prince George looks. Hard to believe he will become a teenager next month."
King Charles marked his official birthday with the traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony today, a spectacular showcase of British military precision and pageantry in the capital.

Thousands of spectators gathered to witness the occasion, which featured some of Britain's most distinguished regiments.
This year's parade represented the fourth time the monarch had presided over the celebration since taking the throne.
The royal procession travelled from Buckingham Palace along The Mall, with Charles and Queen Camilla at its centre, surrounded by a Sovereign's Escort from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
The Princess of Wales attended alongside her three children, who observed the proceedings from a historic vantage point above the parade ground.
