Prince Andrew is becoming increasingly isolated from members of the Royal Family, as his sister Princess Anne has been described as "fed up" with him by a royal author.
Last week, the Prince announced he would "put my duty to my family and country first" and surrender the use of his royal titles amid "continued accusations" against him.
The decision to relinquish being known as the Duke of York comes amid mounting scandals surrounding Andrew concerning his relationship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and connections to China.
In his statement, Andrew said that the "accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family".

Princess Anne is among those within the Firm who have lost patience with Andrew, according to royal author Christopher Anderson.
Mr Anderson noted that Anne has always been a stalwart supporter of her brother, King Charles, both before and after he ascended to the throne.
"Anne has long sided with The King," he said, adding that this continued even with the intrafamily scandal.
"She is as fed up with Andrew as Charles and William are," the author told Us Weekly.

Over the weekend, it emerged that Prince William was similarly unhappy with his uncle and felt his punishment should go further.
Following the decision for Andrew to surrender the use of his titles, the Prince of Wales was described as: "Not satisfied with the outcome."
As such, William is seen to be seeking a "more ruthless" approach to dealing with his disgraced uncle, The Sunday Times reported.
The Prince of Wales is seeking to exclude Andrew from his Coronation ceremony and prohibit his attendance at all royal occasions, both public and private.
