Meghan Markle has shared a rare black and white photograph of Prince Harry with their two children on social media.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, posted the image without any accompanying caption.
The photograph captured the trio from behind as they faced away from the camera.

The timing of the post was notable, coming shortly after a difficult period for the Duke of Sussex.
The image comes in the wake of Prince Harry's recent legal setback regarding his security arrangements.
The Duke lost his appeal to regain public-funded security that was removed following his departure from royal duties.
Hours after this legal defeat, Prince Harry appeared on the BBC to give a lengthy interview.

During the 30-minute sit-down, he directed criticism toward the Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex has claimed the King will not speak to him and he does not know “how much longer my father has” as he spoke of his hopes for a “reconciliation” with his family.
Harry, 40, said: “This, at the heart of it, is a family dispute.”
When asked if Charles had been approached to use his influence in Harry’s legal problems, the duke appeared to imply the King was a hindrance, a comment likely to deepen the rift with his father and his brother, the Prince of Wales.
Prince Harry told the BBC King Charles 'doesn't speak to him'.
BBCHe said: “I’ve never asked him to intervene, I’ve asked him to step out of the way and let the experts do their job.”
The health of the King, who is being treated for cancer, was highlighted by his son, who said: “And I said, life is precious.
"I don’t know how much longer my father has, he, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.”
The timing of Meghan's post raised eyebrows, appearing so soon after Harry's public comments about his relatives.
The photo release marked a rare glimpse into the Sussex family life during what appears to be a challenging period for the Duke.
This was not the first time Meghan had shared glimpses of her children on Instagram. The Duchess occasionally posts photos of Archie, now five, and Lilibet, three, in their home's rose garden.
The latest image showed the father and his two children with their backs to Meghan as she captured the moment.
No captions were provided by the black and white photograph, leaving viewers to interpret the intimate family scene for themselves.
The garden setting appears to be a favoured location for family photographs in the Sussex household.
