The Duchess of Sussex shared a photograph of her husband from before they started dating

Meghan Markle has sent a cheeky birthday message to Prince Harry, including a major throwback picture.

The Duchess of Sussex chose a decade-old image of the Duke of Sussex from 2015, when he first began to sport facial hair.

She captioned the image: "Oh hi, Birthday Boy" alongside a fire emoji.

Prince Harry's 41st birthday comes after the father-of-two returned to Montecito after a week in the UK and Ukraine.

The picture shared by Meghan, 44, showed Prince Harry on his 31st birthday back in 2015.

The Duke of Sussex was on the airfield at Goodwood Aerodrome, where he was shown a Spitfire Aircraft that would take part in a Battle of Britain Flypast at Goodwood.

The 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain was marked by a historic flypast that brought more Battle of Britain aircraft together than ever before as a show of thanks to "the few" and the sacrifices they made.

In 2025, the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain was celebrated.

The picture shared on Meghan's Instagram page appeared to be heavily edited compared to the photograph taken by Chris Jackson in 2015.

Meghan's post appeared darker, which was perhaps caused by a reflection from the camera.

Prince Harry celebrated his 41st birthday with his wife and two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

The Duke of Sussex had just spent four days in the UK, focusing on charity and patronage-related work.

The former working royal then travelled to war-torn Ukraine, after an invitation by an organisation that supports Ukrainians with life-changing injuries caused by the war.

Following a week of positive press for Harry's brief European return, the Duke of Sussex decided to give an honest interview with the Guardian, where he answered questions about Meghan and his father, King Charles.

Speaking about his 2023 memoir Spare, Prince Harry said his "conscience is clear", despite being open about his rifts with the Royal Family.

He also said that, over the coming year, "the focus really has to be on my dad".
