Meghan Markle made a “very insulting” gesture to the British public during her brief stay, according to Angela Levin.
The Duchess of Sussex landed in the UK last week, bringing an end to her 20-month absence from British shores.
But her decision to remain at Heathrow and await her husband’s arrival has been met with criticism.
Royal author Angela Levin and GB News presenter Isabel Webster were among those to question the duchess, labelling her decision “insulting”.

Asked whether Harry and Meghan “looked happy” together during their trip to Nigeria, Levin responded “they never do”.
“She was talking to a teacher and she obviously got very bored”, she said during the GB News discussion.
“She turned around as the teacher was speaking to her and did a wave and pulled Harry away because she wasn’t getting enough attention.”
Meghan said Nigeria is “my country” and that it is “humbling” to learn more about her background there.
On Saturday, Meghan spoke during her three-day trip to the African country to say that learning more about her heritage has been “eye-opening”.
She shared on her Archetypes podcast two years ago that she had taken a DNA-based test that showed she was 43 per cent Nigerian.
