The annual King's Speech in the House of Lords took place this morning

King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the State Opening of Parliament this morning, where the monarch delivered the third longest speech of its kind this century.

The King and Queen travelled from Buckingham Palace to Westminster by horse and carriage in stunning fashion.


The monarch's address began at around 11:30 and lasted more than 11 minutes.
