King Charles has been spotted using a walking stick during his recent public engagements.

The 76-year-old monarch attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show last Saturday, followed by a visit to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on Monday.

At both events, royal watchers noted His Majesty's use of a walking stick alongside his elegant attire.

The King appeared in good spirits throughout these appearances, engaging enthusiastically with fellow attendees.

His choice to use a walking stick at consecutive public events undoubtedly drew attention from royal observers, though it appears to be more of a stylish accessory than a medical necessity.

The King has been photographed with stylish walking sticks in 2008, 2002 and 1998, as well as on other occasions.

While walking sticks can serve a practical purpose, they also offer health benefits for many users.

According to The Blue Badge Co, as cited in Hello!: "A walking stick can relieve pressure on painful joints and can improve your balance."

However, the organisation also cautions that incorrect usage could potentially "increase your risk of having a fall and may lead to injuring another area of your body."

In King Charles's case, the walking sticks seen at his recent engagements appear to be primarily ornamental rather than medical necessities.

The item likely serves more as a stylish accessory complementing his elegant appearance rather than a mobility aid.

At the Royal Windsor Horse Show, His Majesty was seen chatting animatedly with his younger brother, Prince Edward, clearly enjoying the equestrian event.

During Monday's Chelsea Flower Show appearance, the King had a pleasant conversation with David Beckham, further demonstrating his active engagement at these high-profile events.

Royal enthusiasts were quick to comment on the monarch's stylish appearance at both occasions, with many describing him as "elegant" and "suave" in his well-tailored suits.

The King's younger sister, Princess Anne, was recently spotted using a walking stick at the Cirencester Park Horse Trials.

In addition, the Princess Royal, 74, used an umbrella for support when leaving the Easter Sunday service last month.
