However, Princess Kate suffered a backlash last week over editing a Mother's Day picture of her alongside Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The backlash to the photo has sparked doubt over whether Kate and William will continue the tradition of releasing new photos of their children to mark their birthdays.
It has also cast doubt over whether Kate will continue to take the photos or will instead choose to hire a professional photographer.

An aide told the Sunday Times: "They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays."
They added there was no "firm decision" on whether the Princess of Wales will continue to take the photographs.
The decision will be made after Princess Kate's return to royal duties.
According to reports Kate has not ruled out making a return on Easter Sunday during the Royal Family's traditional walk to church.
