Princess Kate and Prince William are carrying out engagements in Scotland today.
The couple are visiting Stirling and Falkirk to highlight the unique Scottish heritage traditions and how they are inspiring new generations.
Kate and William first travel to the National Curling Academy in Stirling and meet with Team GB and Paralympic GB Curling teams, ahead of the Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games in Milano-Cortina in February and March.
Curling traces its roots back to 16th-century Scotland and has since become one of Team GB and Paralympics GB’s most successful winter sports, earning six Olympic medals and two Paralympic medals to date.

The National Curling Academy was opened in August 2017 in the run-up to the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, providing a dedicated curling facility that gives British Curling athletes a world class environment in which to train.
Its creation has allowed British Curling to stay at the forefront of the sport, responding to the need for the programme to give all of the athletes year-round access to high quality ice, which was not previously available in the UK.
The royal couple then met with the Team GB and Paralympic GB Curling teams and heard about their training ahead of the Games, before having the opportunity to take part in a curling game on the ice.
Kate and William also visited Radical Weavers, a working handweaving studio and independent charity in the heart of Stirling.

The couple are visiting Stirling and Falkirk to highlight the unique Scottish heritage traditions and how they are inspiring new generations.

Radical Weavers, established in 2019, aims to help to tackle social isolation and support people affected by trauma and loss by offering the opportunity to learn traditional Scottish tartan-weaving skills in a safe and welcoming environment.
The couple's engagements in Scotland come as Prince Harry attended the second day of his legal battle with Associated Newspapers in London's Royal Courts of Justice, 418 miles away from the couple's engagement in Stirling.
The Duke of Sussex is one of seven prominent figures bringing the case, alongside Sir Elton John, David Furnish, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, actress Sadie Frost, Liz Hurley and former Liberal Democrat MP Sir Simon Hughes.
The group claims ANL either directly carried out or commissioned illegal practices, including installing listening devices in vehicles, obtaining private records through deception, and intercepting telephone conversations.

ANL has rejected all allegations against it.
All seven claimants are expected to give evidence during the proceedings, with Prince Harry scheduled to take the witness stand on Thursday.
The Duke of Sussex is currently not on speaking terms with the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The royal couple are not expected to meet with Prince Harry during his time in the UK this week.
