Prince William has shared the Princess of Wales's regret not being able to join him in Singapore.
Kate has chosen to remain in the UK to help their eldest son Prince George prepare for his first major exams.
The Prince of Wales briefly mentioned his wife's absence and said "[Kate is] very sorry she can’t be here."

He said: "I’m delighted to be back in Singapore.
"It has been 11 years since Catherine and I enjoyed a memorable visit here on behalf of my late Grandmother in her Diamond Jubilee Year.
"And I should mention that Catherine is very sorry she can’t be here, she is helping George through his first set of major exams.
"The focus of my visit this week is how we collectively overcome our planet’s greatest environmental challenges.

In October, Princess Kate confirmed she would stay behind in the UK to support Prince George while William travelled to Singapore.
The young royal's exam result could be pivotal in deciding whether he will be accepted into Eton College.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond claimed that Prince George has been feeling "under the cosh" as his exam period approaches.

Bond told Ok!: "William and Kate have three children with very different demands.
"We know poor George has been feeling rather under the cosh lately because school life seems to be all about being tested."
