Beau Greaves has made history after winning her first PDC title
| GETTYIt's a moment that will live long in the memory for women's darts, and Greaves could barely contain her emotions after pulling off the sensational checkout.
What made her achievement even more extraordinary was the calibre of opposition she had to overcome.
Greaves dispatched three former world champions in her final three matches to lift the trophy.
First up in the quarter-finals was 2018 world champion Rob Cross, and despite Voltage averaging an impressive 105.96, Greaves edged him out 6-5 with a superb 102.56 average of her own.
Then came two-time world champion Gary Anderson in the semis, and she absolutely demolished him 7-1 with her best performance of the day – a stunning 105.56 average.

That set up her showdown with 2023 world champion Smith in the final.
Both players produced averages in the high 90s throughout a tense final that went the full distance.
Greaves had actually pulled ahead 6-3 at one stage, helped by landing the Big Fish – a maximum 170 checkout that had the crowd on their feet.
Her path to the final had been impressive from the start, with opening victories against Aden Kirk, Thomas Lovely and Jeffrey Sparidaans.
She averaged in the mid-to-high 90s during those early rounds before really stepping up her game when it mattered most.
A last-16 triumph over Karel Sedlacek sent her into a third consecutive Players Championship quarter-final – but this time she went all the way.
A usually composed Greaves struggled to hold back tears in her post-match interview, clearly overwhelmed by what she'd just accomplished.

"I've had a great year, but I never thought I'd win one of these!" she said.
"I'm so happy I can't even describe the way I feel...it's unbelievable and I feel so proud of myself."
It's the latest milestone in a remarkable career for the young star, who has already racked up a 114-match winning streak in the PDC Women's Series.
She also became the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour.
