The 10-year-old Princess donned a cream cardigan layered over a polka-dotted dress, reflecting her mother's well-documented preference for the pattern.

Other members of the Royal Family were also spotted making their way to Crathie Kirk, with King Charles and Queen Camilla being driven in the back of a royal vehicle.

The King sported a pale pink shirt beneath his suit, complete with a tartan tie honouring the Scottish Highlands.

Camilla chose a multicoloured print dress paired with a substantial cream wrap and a feathered hat.

The King and Queen had previously been pictured travelling to worship last week, where Charles was seen taking the wheel.

Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, attended in vibrant turquoise, wearing a coordinating blouse, jacket and millinery.

Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, also joined the service.

However, Prince Andrew appeared to skip the gathering, having been spotted driving near Balmoral Castle approximately sixty minutes before the service commenced, The Sun reported.

The annual Balmoral retreat represents the sole occasion outside Christmas when the entire Royal Family convenes together.

Charles and Camilla plan to remain at the Highland residence for three weeks. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is scheduled to visit the monarch at Balmoral next month.

The King intending to continue working during the summer holiday, following the late Queen Elizabeth's example.

Like his mother before him, King Charles is expected to spend his stay reading official papers from his daily “red boxes,” while also holding audiences and carrying out a small number of engagements.

Balmoral Castle, bought in 1845 by Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, has been a summer retreat for the Royal Family ever since.

It was particularly special to Queen Elizabeth, the setting for Prince Philip’s 1946 proposal, their honeymoon, and summers with their children and grandchildren.

The castle is also a place of reflection. It was here that Queen Elizabeth died on September 8, 2022, aged 96, just days after performing her final duty.

Last year, King Charles marked the first anniversary of her death and his accession to the throne with a service at Crathie Kirk.
