An official announcement from Donald Trump's administration is anticipated within days regarding King Charles III's Washington, DC trip next month, according to new claims.
Sources familiar with the arrangements have suggested that the monarch will be honoured with a state dinner during his time in the United States capital.
Buckingham Palace has not yet officially confirmed King Charles III's state visit to the US because, by constitutional convention, the decision to announce and proceed with State Visits rests with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, rather than the Palace itself.
Congressional schedules have been adjusted to accommodate the royal trip, according to reports in Punchbowl News, a Washington DC-based news organisation founded in 2021.
