Protests are taking part in some areas with President Trump’s brand of politics proving unpopular among some.

Speaking to the People’s Channel, Janet and Anthony made it clear they would not be joining any demonstrations.

“We always come to Windsor once a week and we thought we’d come along today to see what’s going on”, Janet said.

“We know we can’t see anything of Donald Trump at all because it’s all inside the Windsor estate, but it’s just interesting to see what’s going on.”

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

Speaking about the protests, Anthony said: “I don’t mind protests, as long as they’re peaceful, I don’t mind. But I think it’s very good Trump coming over.

“This country needs a dose of Trump to put us on the right track, quite frankly. We will certainly benefit, Microsoft is already investing £22 billion in this country.

“I am all in favour of the American relationship.”

Asked if Britain has a free speech problem, he said: “I think it’s unfortunate with this particular Government which is a bit woke to say the least.

“It’s creeping into everything. We need to go back to our English values. We need something like a Conservative Government again or Reform.”

GB News National Reporter Will Godley joined protesters in Central London to find out why they had come out in force to voice their opposition to President Trump.

Mike Griffin said: “I’m here because Donald Trump is in our midst. He is the enabler of the genocide in Gaza.

“Palestinian lives simply do not matter to the West and Trump is the key enabler to that. They seem to be unwilling or incapable of doing something about it. I think it’s tragic.”

President Trump and First Lady Melania arrived on the Windsor Castle grounds earlier today and were immediately welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Shortly after greeting the couple, President Trump was then introduced to King Charles by William, who was heard saying “this is my father”.

William and Kate were part of a royal charm offensive which included an inspecting of the guard for the US President and an exchanging of gifts.

President Trump shook hands with the King and the pair chatted enthusiastically, with the 47th US President also placing his hand on Charles’s arm as they shook hands.
