Kamala Harris has hit back at Trump’s “extremist and dangerous” agenda after he sat down in a bizarre encounter with Elon Musk.
The former President spoke with Elon Musk in an interview hosted on X lasting two hours.
Musk began the conversation with Trump by talking about the failed assassination attempt before moving on to Trump’s relationships with key foreign powers.
In a statement on X, Kamala Harris thought the interview, which included attacks on her immigration handling, was strange.

She said: “Donald Trump's extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda is a feature not a glitch of his campaign, which was on full display for those unlucky enough to listen in tonight during whatever that was on X.com.
“Trump's entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself - self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024.”
Trump laid into Harris from the outset of the audio-only interview branding her a “radical left lunatic”.
He said: “If we have her as a President, if we have a Democrat as a President I don't think we would survive,” the former President told Musk.
“She's a radical left lunatic. She is far worse than Bernie Sanders.”
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Trump added: “She's not a smart person by the way, she wouldn't have this kind of conversation.”
He continued to say that she was a “liar” and had fumbled the handling of the migrant crisis.
Trump claimed Harris “didn’t know what she was doing” despite being in control of the southern border.
He said: “She was totally in charge. She could have shut the border down without [Biden]. He didn’t know what he was doing anyways. He wouldn’t have even known what happened.
“Where’s she been for three and a half years? For three and a half years, we’ve had 20 million people pouring in.”

REUTERSDefending her record on illegal immigration, the Vice President launched a new ad in the last 24 hours which claimed she would be “tough” on the Mexican border.
The ad boasts of Harris’s “decades fighting violent crime” as a prosecutor in California.
“Kamala Harris has spent decades fighting violent crime. As a border state prosecutor, she took on drug cartels and jailed gang members for smuggling weapons and drugs across the border,” the ad reads.
“As Vice President, she backed the toughest border control bill in decades. And as president, she will hire thousands more border agents and crack down on fentanyl and human trafficking.”
“Fixing the border is tough. So is Kamala Harris.”
