Donald Trump's historic State of the Union address has been hailed as a "television spectacle" by GB News star Bev Turner.
Offering her reaction to the US President's speech, which ran for a record-breaking one hour and 48 minutes, the Late Show Live host declared the address was "classic Donald Trump".
In his speech to the world, Mr Trump declared "our nation is back" as he hailed a "turnaround for the ages" under his administration during his State of the Union address at the US Capitol.
He insisted that under his leadership the US has "achieved a transformation like no one has seen before", describing it as a "turnaround for the ages".

Addressing the issue of immigration, the Republican hailed the achievement of historic lows in illegal crossings at the southern border and a reduction in fentanyl entering the US.
Mr Trump said: "After four years in which millions and millions of illegal aliens poured across our borders, totally unfettered and unchecked, we now have the strongest and most secure border in American history.
"The flow of deadly fentanyl across our border is down by a record 56 per cent in one year."
Offering her analysis of the US President's speech, Bev told GB News: "It was really classic President Trump, although I think he actually dialled down on some of the more kind of braggadocios style that he is associated with.

"I would also say there wasn't quite as many tangents, there wasn't the going off autocue and ad libbing in the way that we might associate with President Trump, even though it was the longest speech in history, I think he pretty much kept to time. I think he kept to the autocue."
Declaring the almost two-hour speech a "spectacle", Bev drew on his persona as a "TV presenter" during the address.
She explained: "It was a lot of President Trump the TV presenter in there tonight. It was not only a political speech, but it was a brilliant television spectacle, because he brought in lots of people.
"It was a real classic case of show don't tell. He didn't just sit there telling you about the things that he has done, he brought in people to demonstrate it."

Taking aim at the Democrats and their reaction to the speech, Bev swiped at their "silence", particularly on issues that are "cross-party".
She said: "If you were a Republican tonight, it was a bit of a workout. They stood up and they clapped for all of these points, but the Democrats sat there silently throughout.
"And at one point he said, shame on you, shame on you. It was very powerful to display the Democrats as not having the same sort of patriotic tendencies as President Trump and the Republicans had tonight.
"It's absolutely fascinating stuff in America, but we never see anything like it here in Britain."
Noting a decline the polls for Mr Trump's popularity, Bev argued that the President "came out fighting tonight" to state his case to the American people.

She concluded: "It's a very delicate balance for him to strike, he's not doing brilliantly in the polls at the moment.
"His popularity, particularly amongst younger people, amongst Hispanic people, African American people, those who voted for him actually, largely they aren't happy with him at the moment, partly because of the Ice agents.
"You've seen the very confrontational altercations which are happening on the streets of America that isn't landing well with the voters.
"People are in support of the work that he's done on the southern border as well, that kind of is landing quite well, but he had to come out fighting tonight and he certainly did that."
