Nigel Farage will tell Reform UK members today to prepare for the collapse of the Labour Government in fewer than two years' time.
The Reform UK leader has made clear to friends that he wants the party to be General Election-ready, with a complete set of candidates to fight one on board by the end of next year.
Mr Farage believes that in 2027, Chancellor Rachel Reeves will have to unveil an austerity Budget to cut government spending to reassure the markets, which will split the Labour Party.
Some 70 left-wing MPs will jump ship to Jeremy Corbyn's new party, according to the Reform leader.
Mr Farage believes this will lead to the collapse of the Labour Government, which has a majority of over 160 in the Commons.

A senior party insider said: "The fracture of the Left is coming.
"If Nigel is right about that, the Government will fall in 2027."
Privately, Mr Farage puts this possibility at between 30 and 40 per cent.
One insider said he will spell this out at the party's conference in Birmingham.
They said: "He is going to say that we will have to be ready for a General Election in 2027."
The news comes amid speculation that Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner could be forced to resign over her tax affairs.

One said: "She is real."
Mr Farage has indicated that he would like more former Conservatives to come across to Reform after ex-Tory Minister Nadine Dorries switched this week, declaring "the Tory Party is dead" as she did so.
One friend said: "Our biggest weakness is that we have no one with experience of Government, we have no one who knows the ropes.
"We have to have some experience. If you have been there, you understand the system."
The Tories are "hanging on" with 17 or 18 per cent in the polls, the source said, but "a string of high profile defections will get that down by several pips", the friend added.

Senior figures in Reform now believe that Tory leader Kemi Badenoch "will be lucky to be there by Christmas" after a series of missteps as leader, notably at Prime Minister's Questions this week.
After PMQs, Labour MP James Frith told GB News that Sir Keir Starmer would have expected Ms Badenoch "to zone in more" on the Deputy PM's tax affairs.
"I think Keir, the Prime Minister, performed very well," Mr Frith said.
"I think he probably would have expected Kemi Badenoch to zone in more... I think, notwithstanding the short notice, I'm surprised she didn't lean into that more."
