The City Ground, where the famous Nottingham Forest Football Club ply their trade in The Premiership, has a capacity of 30,445. Shockingly, it is not big enough to hold all the migrants who have arrived into the UK this year on small boats. Nor are the grounds of Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers and Lord’s Cricket Ground.
For Governments to have failed us all so appallingly for so long, is a national disgrace, and the harsh reality is that our streets are now populated by tens of thousands of illegal migrants, and we, the public, know nothing about their past behaviour, any crimes they may have committed in foreign lands, and their intentions.
One such illegal migrant goes by the name of Mada Pasa. This week Mada Pasa arrived on the shores of our great nation, in a small boat that had travelled from France. Where else of course...?
Fortunately, Pasa was detained in Dover - while I’m pleased he has been detained it is our taxes that are paying for his board and lodging, and the wages of those who guard him.
We are also paying for all the other hordes of illegal migrants that continue to flood into our country, and in a week that yet more tax hikes were forced upon us, I can’t help but wonder if so many billions upon billions of taxpayer pounds were not being spent on this issue which should have been solved many moons ago, would Rachel Reeves have found it necessary to raid the pensions of the responsible, impose swingeing additional costs on businesses that are the backbone of the economy, and cause so much distress to the farmers that feed us?
And just in case the budget has gripped your attention in the past few days, it is with a heavy heart that I tell you that another 1,507 migrants arrived on small boats this week.
These numbers are completely unsustainable, not only in terms of cost, but also the drain on resources – housing, medical, policing and more.
Everyone knows that the riots of August were largely motivated by concerns about this illegal migration, and yet this new government, swept to power with a huge majority, appears to be as incompetent as its predecessor.
I’m sure that none of us want to see a repeat of the idiotic lawlessness of the summer, but if this issue is not tackled effectively and soon, then don’t blame me if it all kicks off again in 2025.
