Arrests were made across US cities as anti-Donald Trump protestors clashed with law enforcement as part of the third wave of 'No Kings' protests.

The movement organised more than 3,200 events spanning all 50 states, with participants voicing opposition to the President's deportation policies, military action in Iran, and the increasing cost of living.

Significant gatherings took place in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Philadelphia and Washington.

In LA, the US Department of Homeland Security reported that approximately 1,000 rioters encircled the Roybal Federal Building during Saturday's demonstrations.

Two individuals were taken into custody for allegedly attacking federal law enforcement officers.

Authorities stated that two officers sustained injuries after being struck with cement blocks and required medical treatment.

Federal authorities also fired tear gas canisters into the crowd after some demonstrators reportedly hurled objects over a fence.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed via social media that additional arrests were made when protesters refused to leave an area adjacent to a federal prison.

Dallas also witnessed violent confrontations between No Kings demonstrators and counter-protest groups, including one faction led by Enrique Tarrio, the former head of the Proud Boys organisation.

Physical altercations broke out after counter-demonstrators obstructed roadways, prompting Dallas police to detain several individuals.

Thousands had gathered at the Dallas event, making it one of the largest demonstrations outside the traditional protest centres of New York and Washington.

"Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant," organisers declared.

Dismissing the protests, a White House spokesman described them as: "Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions."

They said interest in the demonstrations was being generated by "reporters who are paid to cover them."

The No Kings protest coincided with Together Alliance demonstrations in London, billed as a march against the "far-right" and the "politics of division".

Ahead of the protest in the capital, Indivisible London and Democrats Abroad declared they would hold a miniature “No Tyrants” rally before joining the Together Alliance march.

“Members are invited to meet the DAUK (Democrats Abroad UK) 1st Amendment Events Team at 11:30 AM in front of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Statue on Grosvenor Square,” a notice read.

“From there, those who want to participate in the Together Alliance March Against The Far Right will have the option to walk together as a group to the starting point on Park Lane, joining many thousands of others who are participating in the day’s events.”

Green Party leader Zack Polanski led demonstrations that culminated in a gathering at Trafalgar Square.
