President Donald Trump has declared that Iran could face “complete destruction and certain death” as he pledged the Islamic regime would be "hit very hard" in new strikes.
Earlier today, Iran apologised to neighbouring states for a campaign of drone strikes following the beginning joint US and Israeli operations against the country.
The grovelling address prompted a volcanic Truth Social post from Mr Trump, who slammed the Islamic regime as the “loser of the Middle East".
"Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologised and surrendered to its Middle East neighbours, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack," he began.

"They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries. They have said, 'Thank you President Trump.' I have said, 'You’re welcome!'
"Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East,” they are, instead, “THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST,” and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!
"Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behaviour, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time.
Concluding characteristically, President Trump wrote: "Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

This morning, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian issued an apology to neighbouring Middle Eastern states, which it has been lashing out at with drone and missile strikes.
Broadcasting a video message on Iranian state television, he said: "From now on, do not attack neighbouring countries unless attacked first.
"I deem it necessary to apologise to neighbouring countries that were attacked."
"We do not intend to invade neighbouring countries," the Iranian leader added, calling for regional cooperation to "establish peace and calm".

"Those considering exploiting this moment to attack Iran must not become puppets of imperialism," President Pezeshkian concluded.
Despite this pledge, Iran has continued to launch attacks across the region.
Ahead of President Trump's promise of a major new wave of strikes, US B-1 Lancer strategic bombers have been landing at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, which famously struck Iran's nuclear sites last year in Operation Midnight Hammer, are also expected to land soon.

Last night, Israel targeted Tehran with what it described as its "biggest bombing campaign" yet.
More than 80 fighter jets pummelled the Iranian capital, striking government and regime infrastructure.
Massive explosions could also be heard at the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, with videos circulating online showing huge fires and plumes of thick smoke in the area, with multiple planes set ablaze.
The travel hub is said to be Iran's busiest airport and is home to several aerospace companies that have been linked to the Islamic Republic's defence industry.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warned on Friday that "tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign".
"We will do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles.
"We are substantially degrading them and our campaign has been overwhelming," Mr Bessent said.
