American singer D4vd has been arrested on suspicion of murder, seven months after the body of a missing girl was found "dismembered" in his car.
D4vid - whose real name is David Burke - has been taken into custody for the alleged murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, Californian officials have confirmed.
The arrest is said to have been carried out based on evidence and the development of probable cause.
The case is scheduled to be handed over to the LA District Attorney's Office on Monday for filing consideration, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) have said.
In September, LAPD officers discovered Ms Rivas' body in the back of the prominent singer's vehicle.
The grim discovery was made in a Hollywood Hills impound lot after police received numerous reports of a foul smell coming from a Tesla Model Y.
Authorities said her body was found wrapped in plastic and not fully intact due to being badly decomposed.
The girl may have been dead "for several weeks" before she was discovered, according to officials.
